Pinery Community Development District
Pinery Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on April 4, 2025 by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners, Ordinance No. 2025-04 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
Pinery CDD is located entirely within Hernando County, Florida and covers approximately 1,072 acres of land. The site is generally located south of State Road 26 and east of SW 242nd Street.
The services provided by the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

Pinery Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on April 4, 2025 by the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners, Ordinance No. 2025-04 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The District shall exercise the general and special powers authorized by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, with specific consent for the special powers in Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes, and which shall operate in accordance with the uniform community development district charter as set forth in Sections 190.06 through 190.041, Florida Statutes.
